Comments: The central scene appears to illustrate the mythical event
of enthronement of the god Jun Ye Nal Chaak by Itzamna in 3310 BC,
but, in fact, it depicts its re-staging on the occasion of the ascent to the
throne of the new ruler, with mortals assuming the roles of the gods.
